    Interesting comments.

“I have most definitely noticed a new buzz around Georgia Tech. Players like me were never interested before, but now, we love it there.” — Wiggles (And he's announcing at 2 pm today.)

"We're not here to have a Norman Vincent Peale "Power of Positive Thinking" get together or a Georgia Tech Football Revival Meeting."

    Jim Hart

“You win with people first. When you surround yourself with unbelievable men of character and relentless recruiters who give great effort and care about the student-athlete and want them to be successful in every single phase of their lives, and tie that together with a great place, you have a chance to build something special.”

Of course there’s a buzz around the program. There’s a change. That’s how it always is not matter if it’s GT or whatever other program. And Collins is doing a lot on social media. But the “players like me” comment is just a lie. He’s a 3 star who’s best offers are from GT, Tennessee and UNC. I can go back the last ten years and find a ton of players we’ve signed that have identical profiles. This is just talk. Get more 4 star commits, please. Then we can say a comment like this is true.

Except it isn’t true. It would take me 5 minutes to find about 20 3 stars that have similar offer sheets that were signed under PJ. That comment he made is just BS.

It is very early in the game. Your comments are premature. Some of these 3-stars could end up as 4 stars as they perform in their senior years. We're almost a year away from their final ratings. Many will get additonal offers and have other schools pursue them, including big-time programs as they play their senior seasons. What we do know is that they won't go below where they are currently rated. Only way to go is up.

He is not a "program-changer" by any means but he is a BIG DE for a change (255) as a Jr .That's a upgrade anyway.Right now we are moving Off linemen to DL we are so desperate.

There is a buzz around Tech since Collins. Talented players see that he has a staff that can develop them for the next level. They will get to play in a "pro-style" system and will be coached by experienced guys who have played at the next level.

And, talented players want to be able to "get on the field". The days of teams "locking up" the best 40 players in the recruiting area are over. All Collins and his staff need to do is bring in " the right mix" each year to run his program. His players are going to get excellent coaching and development and they will be playing against some of the best in the country.

And as for "stars", the recruiting "services" are just like Facebook. They want to sign up as many people as they can to their web site so they can "monetize" the site for their own gain. I'm sure they get it right a lot but there are many talented players in high school they never see. I would bet that most "stars" are assigned based upon which schools are visited. One of the best running backs in this years NFL draft played his ball in the backyards of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and was overlooked. And, he only went to Alabama because some recruiter finally convinced Saban to take a look at him.

I feel very good about the way Collins and his team are executing. But, I don't expect a major change next year. I expected it would take him about 3 years to get his program established. But, he damn sure is doing everything he can to get it on the fast track.

Already crapping on Collins' recruits...calling the kid a liar. Nice...as a GT fan.

How do you know he was referring to his star rating? Maybe he was simply referring to guys like him that wouldn't have ordinarily considered GT because of, say, the limited curriculum or other reasons that are used to negatively recruit us? Tell us more. Tell us of your insights into this kid's mind.

Crapping on Collins recruits. Rich. Hilarious. I've been one of Collins biggest supporters. Bought season tickets for the first time in several years. Plan on being at all 7 home games. Usually only go to about two per year. But keep insinuating things, pal.

I don't think the kid is a liar. Just misinformed. Incredibly misinformed. I've seen GT sign a bunch of guys that have his exact profile the last 11 years. Fact.
