Tech replaced Joseph with a well respected woman coach Nell Fortner who was head coach of an Olympic team. Yet 2 key Tech players bailed to a lesser academic ACC school with a male coach because that school had more success in recent years.

    A war? LOL. I don't believe so.

Do they have a steeper path to being hired? Yes.

Well guess at 71 I am old school but dont see the war..........if you have women sports looks like you should have women coach if they are qualified.........course my degree from the AF Equal opportunity institute may rule that out............no big deal here look at the womens coaches contract and go from there.

I'm on your heels at 70 Mack. I think "war" may be a stronger term than I'd employ.
