I will give PJ credit he did beat georgie and man did we need that...did not like the option mainly due to the fact that when you take Nesbitt and JD out of the backfield we never really had who we needed.Big thiings was yr after yr we played poor defenses and even though we changed DCs we still didnt have the players.PJ little too arrogant to many of us and his hard headiness on fourth down hurt us..His offense is excellent with a Tracy Ham or A Petterson but we never got payers of that caliber.......he will do well at lesser school and I do thank him for his service

I think the future will be far more positive about Johnson's performance here.

The vast majority of GT fans - Johnsonian and non-Johnsonian alike - seem happy with this hire, which really shows that ultimately almost everyone was done with CPJ.

No, the low point was losing by about 20 to Mid TN St after being an 18 pt favorite AT HOME.I knew then ANYTHING could happen in his tenure.Fortunately had several of good surprises also.( like that 2nd half explosion in athens '09?

I think I need to comment further on PJ.He did a creditable and maybe better than that.11 yrs from now will GT have a better record?--with the grad rate we have?
BUT--the key point is that NOW PJ is swimming against the tide. His Offense is difficult to stop but also difficult to coach and recruit for --and it was getting worse!! .Fewer hi school teams run it and many guys just don't want to play in it.On top of that ,I think his Offense held back the DEF.It helps to practice vs an offense you will see every week. and ours did not.Nor at the level of passing and catching needed.btw-I'm right now watching the Army-Navy game. It is almost 4th qtr and the score is 10-0..Not exactly an ad for great offense)..
    PJ-thanks for the memories.
