To me it is going to depend on who they get as ASST coaches. Mack should have the easiest job as he can get better players probably.Satt will bring stability to Lville--an easy academic school.CG will have the toughest job ESP at first.A good thing he has long contract ecause he is going to need it.Unless he gets a strong QB FAST it will be a huge challenge.

I would like to see Collins give James Graham a look first. He was a 4 star recruit and could give defenses some problems if the passing is there.

I agree that the assistants are very important. But I respectfully disagree that Mack Brown has the easiest task. Geoff Collins "gets" Georgia Tech. I think he has a vision (which includes recruiting and building a staff) that will work and work quickly. Stansbury has given him a leg up by improving the recruiting staff and budget. Stansbury has an overall plan that I have read was jostled a bit by CPJ leaving earlier than he (Stansbury) had planned. We are about to have better players than we have had for ten years or more. And we have two or three strong candidates for qb right now. We need lineman and WR, we need defensive players at every position, but we have the organization in place to get them. I can see us winning 8 games next year, going to a bowl and stimulating our recruiting immediately.

I think you will see a boost in morale team-wide. Collins is much younger than Paul Johnson, Gailey, O'Leary, Lewis, and Bobby Ross. He's taking a page from Dodd by making footballl FUN. I am pumped, and I think the kids will be too.

I don't know about 8 wins but I agree with everything else. I honestly believe Stansbury wanted CPJ here another year or two so he could get the recruiting budget and staff up to par before bringing in a new coach.
