    Miami

    Concerns:
They are better coached than we are.
They have better athletes than we do.
They stop the run very well and know thatís what we are going to do 99% of the time Saturday.
The last time that they were having a bad season they turned it around by beating us.
They know how to win and we donít.
Their fans are rowdy while ours are quietóI wonít be at this game and thus missing my first home game this yearóTech fans, stop telling us to sit down!

Generally speaking, whenever Miami gets to a point in their season where the players themselves realize they aren't going to the ACCCG and they're not going to a New Year's Six bowl game and they aren't going to be on SportsCenter, they stop playing. Most are elite high school players that did not come to Miami to go 7-5 with a crappy bowl game. Richt has a problem on his hands relative to getting his players up for Miami's remaining games. Miami has talent, much better players than we have. And Richt is coach enough to get them to play hard, but it will be a task, for sure. Our problem is that we must beat Miami and then have Miami give us some help against our other rivals.

The timing of this situation of Miami’s is just like that of the one a few years ago when former Hurricane players were calling out the team that was playing below their talent level as such is occurring now. Currently it’s former head coach Jimmy Johnson who is speaking about the offense.
I see Miami stepping up at the wrong time for us.
    Guessing UM 31 GT 17
Gunna need to get our 6th win against UVA, which is not going to be easy, as it won’t come against uga.

Yes, it is a bit bothersome that Richt is not Al Golden or Randy Shannon, but all the little diva bitches that play in Coral Gables can't just throw a switch and start caring again. If our defense shows up we can do okay. Manny Diaz has some problems with our scheme. We probably need 30 points to win, but I think we can get that. My main concern is that VPI can't beat Pittsburgh and we get eliminated from the Coastal even with a win.

WE have a GREAT chance to jump on these suckers BUT--like unc we will give them chances "somehow". Their OFf has been in a funk but if we let up any they will get well.
I'm not at all sure we can dominate their DEF like we did vt and unc some.
Like I said earlier --if it rains or we lose the TO battle--trouble

Our DB's have been overmatched against Miami WR's even dating back to Golden and Shannon. I remember 2016. Tech got it to 28-21. Miami then threw 4 passes and went 75 yards and that was that. The 2 main advantages Tech has are the run game could control the clock like we did in the 2014 game. Also Miami QB's are struggling. Still, I think Miami wins. It's hard to see a 4th straight dreadful offensive performance from Miami.

    Tech wins 41 - 27.

Our defense continues to improve and the platoon QB deal will wear the Miami D down in the second half. Our O line plays it's best game this year.
