    Georgia Tech (-1.5)

So, there is a lot of room for differing opinions when it comes to college football. Massey Rating has the 4-1 blue Devils ranked 23rd in their composite poll, the 3-3 Jackets are a lowly 63rd. Atomic Football predicts Tech 30, Duke 28. And the consensus in Vegas is Tech favored at home by 1.5.

meh, that's the opening line to gauge how people will place their bets. Given last week, it's not surprising that books have us favored though it's basically a Pick 'Em Game.

Yeah, it opened at -3 1/2 and about an hour ago moved to -1.

And rightfully so. Their defense handled our offense last year and did the same to Army. Cutcilffe has him a good ball club.

I laughed out loud when all the "blue-skyers" at the start of last season said we would wipe out dook.(since we finally beaten them the yr before) I definitely thought differently -after watching the tape with JT pulling off some miracle plays his last yr.just to barely win.
well, Cut is back with another gritty team,.well coached and now with talent.Talk about confidence--I guarantee you they remember crushing us like a bug last yr.You can talk about Lville but this is a real test.
Not only are they 33rd in US on DEf but the Offense is much like usf--you remember how well we did vs usf-right?
To me, our only advantage is the HOME field.Lets see if the hero from Lville ,"runRight/runLeft" TM, is up to the task..I don't see us stopping them much but maybe we can outscore them.

Tough one to predict. Duke had a bye week and also has been tougher against the 3-O than some teams. It seems like Cutcliffe has a couple of big DT's that give Tech trouble. On the other hand, they gave up 322 yards passing to a backup QB who at Kansas threw 12 TD's and 19 INT's. They also are small with one exception with their back 7. The passing game will be there. Can Tech take advantage?

This morning the line is back to Tech (-2). So some money coming in on the Jackets. Maybe the hurricane will help us.

the hurricane's effects should be long gone. Which is good. Our fragile, snowflake offense is like the Wicked Witch of the West and melts at the first drop of rain.

We are playing Duke for homecoming. A good idea to wear blue pants to honor the visitors?
