    QB James Graham

Man this kid looks good on film. Too bad he'll be taking snaps under center, negating his height advantage and ability to read the D. I wish I could be optimistic and hope that ol' CPJ would tailor the offense around such an immensely-talented QB but we all know that's unlikely to happen. I hope to be wrong - this kid could put up some stupid numbers in the right offense.

PJ has gotten more rigid with his offense the longer he has been at Tech. When Vad was here, we had the diamond package. Now, we don't run the shotgun even in obvious passing situation. Graham is a major talent but he'll have to fit to this offense and not the other way around.

He looks like a great fit for Paul's offense. GT also needs to recruit some of their fans. LOUD!

agreed and yet somewhere else I read that "it takes at least 3 years to learn this offense." I don't get it - why does it take 3 years to figure out which guy to pitch/hand-off to?

The lack of a shotgun in obvious passing downs is just asinine, there's absolutely no other word for it. And his primary passing play is to roll the RH QB to his left, which is King Stupid because it forces QB to stop and plant feet to make a good throw. Why not roll him to his right side?

I think PJ promised Vad some offensive concessions to get him to GT. It didn't work out so good.

Whatever happened to Vad? Didn't he go up to Canada to play ball after college?

When my wife who is pretty good at calling plays can pick where we are going to run and who is going to get the rock........we are not fooling anybody.

    92,
i do think it takes 3 yrs to function well enough TO WIN with this OFF.It is MAJOR issue learning to take snap from CTr for these guys who are shotgun guys.THEN ,there is almost NO ONE that has a B -back type so CLOSE to QB these days in hi school..THEN deciding to give or not and where, Ctr/G hole or G/T hole .then to run or pitch or pass--all in a 2 seconds.--with 50k fans screaming.

The reason it works is the precision it requires.Need Lots of time to learn.
Show me a Fr that could come in and do it.

Looks like he had a quick cup of coffee in the CFL. I'm surprised me didn't make it up there, his game is taylor made. Maybe he decided he didn't want to play. I know he's very happyily married and living a good life based on the occasional Facebook post I see.
