We've been hearing this lip service for 25 years. You could give 'em a couple billion dollars and a few years later they'd come around looking for more. It's never enough.

Not excited about this at all, sorry.

Okay nice facilties are a great help recruiting wise but to me and my take only.......folks want to go to a winning program that gives them a chance to show off their talent and a foothold on going to NFL....we have decent facilites but we are in down town Atlanta and doubt we are going to move the athletic complex so..........need to find some players and a new offense.

Five years from now when the stadium renovations are complete, we may be riding high on consecutive ten win seasons, the new buildings will be being showcased on telecasts from Grant Field, and things will be new and improved. But even with all that, we won't be the jewel of southern football. While we are raising and spending $125 million, Georgia, Tennessee, FSU, Clempsen etc., will be spending $200 million or more. It's an arms race that we can't win. We will forever be chasing the bigger, more successful programs. And if these facilities issues do really matter, then we will constantly be behind in recruiting.

I don't think any reasonable person would expect any regular participant on this forum to give any credit. It's just the way it is.

Money isn't the main key. Gailey wasn't paid as much as CPJ but was a better recruiter.
