    #5 commit

    5-11, 212 RB from Montgomery,al. 1650 yds,7.3 ypc
On his tape he looks smaller than that. He's got a strong. quick burst on initial cut.NOT a burner. 2nd team all-state in small classification last yr.
I like that he runs from close to QB mostly since he would probably be a Bback.
The big question is-- here is another guy that comes from a small (private) school, how good is the competition?..Doubtful if this guy is going to concern dook much less clem, uga or uM.
We can get these type running backs in December,so why take him now?.

Compared to the last commit, he's got a sterling offer list. I really think PJ wants another Dedrick Mills grind it out type guy. I would prefer a homerun hitter like Marcus Marshall but PJ doesn't seem to like those type of B-Backs.

We take them whenever we can get them. Remember we are one of the few schools that have more scholarships than we can give away.

On this Amerson dude, a guy in another site remarked on how how his OL made huge holes for him.He is right, he had 5 yds many times before he had to make hay.I noticed on his hi school website they had 300+lb players.I would like to see him with hits at LOS and see how he does.I still think he doesn't look 5-11,212.

Maybe we should recruit his linemen.

He'll have to get used to lighter linemen at Tech.

    On a related note-
we just got a SR grad transfer from Wofford--a SS/LB type ,5-11,200--the guy looks like he can play,3rd on team in tackles, he is not AJ but IF Wofford played the same DEf as App St he could be a real find.--at least a ST guy.

    Also got a Long snapper-grad.

and get used to jumping over our catfish-flopping linemen, thanks to CPJ's dive-blocking bull****.
