    Spring Game

I attended the event for the entire time and wanted to make a comment on something that was very disturbing, but maybe only to me.
It was what CPJ did that many probably didnít notice, but I was sitting on the 45 yard line 6 rows up on the West side and had a very good view of what occurred at mid-field near the West sideline.
It was a play when our QB didnít see a wide open WR until it was too late and then made a bad throw to him.
CPJ smiled and laughed for a long time in a mocking way as if he drew up a great play, but our QB failed to execute on such.
It was the QBís bad, but his display tells me a lot about CPJ.
It is still all about himself and not the team.
He will throw the players under the bus anytime to cover up his failures.
Some may say that I am reading too much into what occurred here, but for me it was sickening.

    Maybe you are.
I think I too would show the frustration with the results on what "should have been" .So maybe ,its better than screaming in the guys face.
He may be frustrated but he recruited and coached them.Plus ,I notice he didn't turn down the extension he got on the contract.Smiling all the way to the bank.
    btw--which QB was it?.

I wasn't there, so I can't say. Obviously you came away with a bad impression about what you saw. I would hope you were mistaken, but so much has changed throughout college football over the years. I recently read that our AD acknowledged that shoes and uniforms are significant influences on a recruit's decision on where to play. WTF? The traditionally paternal, father figure coaches don't exist anymore. And who's to say that Bobby Dodd wouldn't have been a different persona had he been paid $2,000,000 a year. It is a tough, corporate environment with a lot of loot on the table, constantly at risk. When your million dollar payday is in the hands of a bunch of teenagers whose main interest is the brand of shoes they get to wear, I am sure it can get frustrating.

It was the team (blue #7?) that was moving from the south end zone to the north end zone. I believe that it was in the 2nd quarter. It was disrespectful, period. I don't see other head coaches showing up players in this manner.

But with the other head coaches, you aren't constantly looking for a reason to hate them. You have no idea what he was laughing at.........or why. That's not a defense of CPJ. It's an indictment of your attitude.

    I do agree with Yuke.

laughing at the kid is better than his usual yelling and hollering act. Maybe CPJ is softening up as he gets older and wealthier.

It is what it is. lather, rinse, repeat. 6 wins, coming up.

It was obvious what he was doing, you must have missed it when you were there. Stick to speculating on your husbandís attitude.

Name six wins. I can't. Here are six losses: Georgia, Clempsen, Miami, VPI, South Florida, Virginia. Throw in Louisville, Duke, UNC, and Pitt as toss-ups.
