    So ,what do we know?--maybe

    1. With a "QB-tag" offense, you learn little from Sprg game. There goes 70% of real plays. No real threat of QB run option or QB/bback power play. Just showed AGAIN how PATHETIC our passing game is.
2.We have very little depth on OL .(assuming we have a good #1 unit) With 4 starters sitting, forget it.The new def confused the OL all nite.We even had to move J. Lee(from OT) to Ctr to try to cover. He's NEVER played there at Tech or even listed there..
    3. The DEF dominated .This is a high risk/high reward DEF just as we figured. With no real OL and tag the QB ,how much else did we learn?. Maybe what guys on Def have gained an edge into 2 deep.Prepare for transfers.
4.It would have been interesting to see how TM would have looked in this "game".I'm not sure that PJ didn't hold him out so he wouldn't look bad.(sick, hmmmm)Remember, this is his Offensive Captain.
5.Maybe we found a kicker. All reports were good.-- as well as the punter
6.With no TV/internet exposure at all,we fell even further behind in publics view.I saw uga Sprg hi-lites on regular ESPN Sportscenter last nite. That 12 yr old in Hahira sure-as s---, ain't coming to Tech in 5 yrs now.

I heard Lucas looked good throwing it. Too bad he'll probably be wasted in our QB-Keeper offense if TM is the starter.

    The optimism is overwhelming. LOL.

I hope our players don't subscribe to this thread.

I understand the concept of not wanting to get people injured. But how do you prepare a team to face Clempsen, Georgia, Miami, and the rest playing touch football? The report on Marshall was he had strep throat. So he was an eleventh hour scratch from the scrimmage, and the others, who had limited reps all spring got to play. Fishy to me, but maybe it happened. I think it is pretty clear that TaQuon has "devolved" into a place-holder until a better qb can be developed or recruited. I really don't know much about Candeto, other than we aren't getting it done at the qb position, despite a lot of athleticism at the position. The technical points such as the reads and the mesh seem to be stagnant or regressing. And passing has been non-existent. And the players behind TaQuon on the depth chart are not pushing him at all to be better, so you have to wonder if there is any real depth at quarterback. I know I am beating a dead horse, but in a system that is quarterback-driven, we have had only a couple of stellar players at the position. Can't recruit them and can't develop them.

Looked like the same level of quality as last year. Probably a 5 to 6 win season. The only QB who had down hill vision and could throw the ball accurately was the 4th stinger Rew. He didn’t have a gold “no hitting/tackling” jersey on like our 2nd and 3rd stringers had on. Our opponents won’t need to worry about our passing game unless TM greatly improves from last year.

Of the teams on this years schedule we have played at least once in the last decade, we have won 48% of the time.

    48%

We have no QB, unproven DC, no OL depth.

    Yes sir, extend the HC.

I actually believe everyone will be eating their words about Taquon Marshall... Our losses this upcoming season won't be his fault I assure you... kid is a winner, let's just hope he is surrounded by other winners
