Gosh finally we are Air University of the ACC ! chunk the rock and see who catches it ! now if we can finally stumble on new unis that look traditional........we may be getting somewhere.Of course our pass happy offense may not be a mainstay of our game plan since we can still dive dive and dive.

Now, if CPJ will keep the air game in our attack, maybe the occasional option can break for big yards.

No doubt you have to spread folks out to survive ...power vs power is not the deal anymore.Nice to have but most teams like to stretch you out and make you pay.Only team I see that repeadedly doesnt do this is LSU who gets in power I and says here we come.......you can do that with LSU athlets but not so sure we can.Get wide and stay alive ...Have a good Labor Day !

See my Tulane thread. JT should have plenty of opportunity to expand on those numbers against a porous Tulane secondary. If Johnson is an offensive genius, he'll exploit this obvious weakness.

If we had not thrown the ball well Saturday, we could have easily lost that game ----to Wofford. Congratulations to Justin Thomas. He started slowly, but was pretty darn accurate when he found his rhythm. Tulane will be slightly better and give us a better idea of how the offense is progressing. Very very concerned about our defense. Maybe Wofford was the game where we play down to the competition, but we looked awfully spongy in the middle.

Rush defense not good and no swarm to the ball.Tulane can throw but not too much else.

Let's hope that's the case - you have to give CPJ some credit for at least trying to tweak the offense for Vad (even if it didn't work out). I would hope that any coach would exploit the other teams weaknesses as much as possible, but at times it has seemed that CPJ is insistent on forcing his system until it works.
