that Kenderious Whitehead could be a starter this year.

" The Yellow Jackets are so thin on the D-line that Whitehead could still be the starter at rush end. Aside from Adam Gotsis, Tech has virtually no established pass rushers"

Bad thing is that we have not had decent DL since the four left in Pauls first year ! Now many excuses I am sure about why we dont or do have a good DL and many of them will be legit but you must have run stoppers and last year folks did well throwing on us so many did not use the run as the first line of offense. We got to get better and fix this problem. Many times when you look at us man vs man we are outweighed heavily by the offense and after two or three quarters of big uns leaning on us we get tired....hope we are not as bad as article says we are.....HWGA

Who in their right mind would call Gotsis an established pass rusher? Accomplished passing teams will feast on us. Georgia, VPI, UNC, Pittsburgh, Clempsen, Duke, Miami.

Which is why I don't but at all into an improved Defense. Thomas and Laskey are going to have to score a lot of TDs.

It's been a long time? You wouldn't call Attaochu a good pass rusher?

Yeah he was good but folks figured that out too..........bad thing is we had no help from inside rushers and Attaochu was not a true DE in my book.Great athlete and glad to have him but we need pressure from inside to stop the run and keep guys in the pocket.Look around it seems that every qb or most every qb that faced us had field day throwing the football. Will say rush improved but still we had to rush five to put any kind of presssure on the good teams.

I thought most were already counting on Whitehead to be a major factor in filling the Attaochu hole?
I don't think the line will be terrible like some do. It's time for some of the youngin's to step up, and I think we'll see a few kids do just that.

No one "figured out" Attouchu. He had 4 sacks against UGA and almost single handedly beat them. We win that game with a little more depth and a QB that could effectively run our offense. You guys are so negative on this board these days. Im not sold that we'll be any good this year but does it get old bashing our team? If we go 9-3 or 10-2 this year do any of you guys care? Or are you just so unhappy with your life that you need a place to be negative?
