How does 1 concussion end a player's career? Sorry to hear about this for Chase.

That is odd. Must have been some lingering affects or something?

Yes, I'm sorry to hear this. I know someone from his high school who thinks highly of him and his family.
    Get off my lawn.

Must be and with HIPPA it will most likely not be reported in the papers.

Interviewed him after he committed to GT. Very personable and likable young man.

Bad news no doubt but .....glad Docs caught it before he really got hurt.I think back in HS in the early sixties like 62-65 we all had our bell rung and the Doc would look at us and usually unless our eyes were crossed etc send us back in the game.We had the old Riddell helmet with a suspension(sic) apparatus that was supposed to keep concussions out of the picture. I have seen then split from a lick..they were light and looked good but not a good helmet. The old Wilson Helmet the Bears wore for years weighted a ton but it was padded with foam...Just glad now Docs and Coaches are looking at the hit and keeping guys healthy.I have two grandkids that play ages 11 and 8 and the helmets they wore were better than what I wore.Hope the guy does well in the future. He seems like a class acti.Good Luck to him and his family.

Concur with you Mack. In the old days if you got pulled from a game because you couldn't get up, when you came to on the sidelines if you could ID the number of fingers the trainer held in front of you, you were good to go back in.

Or if you could answer the question "who are we playing?" correctly
