I've read lots of posts here that have said essentially the same thing. I hope Roof shows us the goods.

"There’s plenty of work to be done on that side of the ball for Roof & Co., but if Tech can come closer to the good half of those splits more often, it should be in the thick of things in the Coastal once again."

I'm optimistic our D is gonna jack some teams up this year. The 2nd full year of Roof oughta be a good one.

Always the fan who only looks on game day but hope Roof has some meat in the DL.When you see us pushed off the ball it is not a good thing nor is it good when we have to send a linebacker on a pass play to give us any kind of rush.Roof can coach but hope we have folks who can help us out.Again not worrying about practice or any articles in the paper I just deal with what happens on Saturday and I agree.........better defense and we win couple more ..HWGA

Which players are going to be jacking people up? Even the best DC needs tool have the horses to execute his game plan. On paper, this year's D is lacking compared to last year. And we still need a DL!

Anthony Harrell took over the starting MLB position over Hunt-Days last year and then got hurt. Quayshawn Nealy and PJ Davis are both really good players. Linebackers and secondary are talented and will do well. I think we will be as good or better with those units. 1st string DT's, when healthy, will be good enough but not sure about the depth there. Really lacking a pass rush and it seems like our hopes and dreams of a pass rush fall on the lap of Kenderius Whitehead. If he doesn't provide it, we probably won't have one.
