    Speed, power, vision.

    Harder, better, faster, stronger!

We need a guy like this (and an offense that has a featured RB)

Compare those plays to the BB Dive...look where he is when he gets the ball and the space he has, the opportunities to read the blocking...if you were a stud RB, how would you rather get your carries?

    I f*cking hate our offense.

Big thing is he has as you say time to watch the hole developing..I think this is way to go since you can do so much with this type offense but we will not see it .THis guy can run no doubt.

I agree.. the offensive scheme has a lot to do with his success. Pistol/gun read-option is effective as you get some time to "read" and decide. Furthermore, the extra yards to LoS does help with vision. I vaguely remember Sims (a couple of years ago) saying that he wouldn't be able to see the hole when he got the ball, but would have to "trust it will be there" when he gets to the line. This works most of the time, but when it doesn't he eats it from a DT. No 5* wants to do that, and put up with blocking a bunch for other backs for limited carries in an old system.

I agree. I have, in the past, led the PJ bandwagon, stirred the cool-aid, and donned gold-colored glasses all the way to the double-OT loss to the Team That Shall Not Be Named. But now I'm done. The best we can do under PJ in the future is "Win the Coastal", which is the lesser division in the LEAST powerful of the "Big 5" conferences. So basically irrelevant. I want GT football to be relevant again.

Maybe Gus is a bit out of reach, though Chad Morris as OC is not (with Roof as HC in typical Tech fashion)

That would be a huge step down for Morris. Plus, he's going to sit tight for a big boy to offer him HC.
