    Good summary.

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets spring wrap - ESPN

    I like this prediction.
"One way-too-early prediction: Thomas and Byerly will make many people forget about Vad Lee. Sure, Lee's decision to transfer was a bit of a surprise, and neither of his potential replacements boast much meaningful college experience. But Thomas and Byerly have said and done all the right things this spring and, more important, Georgia Tech brings back what may be the best receiving corps of the Johnson era, led by DeAndre Smelter, Micheal Summers and Darren Waller."

    Go JACKETS! THWG!

Well it does sound good my friend........but folks need to remember in the spring you are playing among yourselves not a different set of eyes on the other side of the LOS.....too early is a good prediction......long way to go.

Disagree 100%. No way this receiving corps can match bay-bay. All 3 of those receivers together aren't as valuable as bay-bay in my opinion. Summers and Waller are still considered unproven. I only recall a couple of plays last year where they actually made plays in the receiving game.

I think a more accurate statement is that it is the best receiving corps SINCE bay-bay left, including when we had Stephen 'Dropsy' Hill.

If we throw it at the same rate as other teams during the Johnson Era, it really doesn't matter much how good our WRs are.

Waller hasn't got the maturity or self-discipline to even stay on the team.

Agree that we are getting ahead of ourselves with such high accolades for two unproven WRs, one of which has 2 or 3 seasons under his belt.

And the prediction regarding the QBs is about as meaningful as me predicting it's going to rain on August 30th. Both "predictions" are completely groundless.

But hey, don't let me get in the way of a positive outlook!

I agree, BeyBey was a complete animal. Smelter's good, but not in the same league. Waller and Summers lack experience/reliability. Much like ol' #5 Dropsy Hill...
