Zackley! Tallest midget. Or winner of the Sunbelt Conference. Don't know what the criteria was for ranking, but I would say if it was coaching ability and player development, he's more realistically 10th or eleventh.

I'm with you YUK. Since we don't really know the new guys (Syr/Louis) etc he should probably rank maybe even or below them.

Sir, not that I am a fan of CPJ (how any coach could be given a 7th year with his record is beyond me), I think he pretty well proved it against Cuse.

Course, who cares about beating those NY squirrels? Won't sell a single ticket at Grant Field.

Sure, the option might not be the most exciting offense to run at a BCS program, and the recruiting at Georgia Tech isnít getting any better
    Lies! all lies!

That last part is interesting. IMO, if the criteria is recruiting, I would rank him around 10th or so. According to many on here, we fill our roster with lower level FCS talent. If that is the case and we are middle of the pack every year, how is his coaching ability near the bottom of the league when we have the worst talent? I don't get it. Can you please explain?

Obviously, this genius didn't open the link. It already had those coaches factored in. Louisville's coach was ranked very high, as he should be (I'm sure you guys would take that scumbag over PJ. I'll keep my dignity). Syracuses coach was low on the list. After the 56-0 thrashing, he should be below PJ. Not sure who else you would put ahead of PJ. I would love to hear your list.

The only explanation I can offer is you have comprehension issues. Yes we have recruiting problems. Some posters here (who shall remain nameless) believe our won-loss record somehow vindicates their belief that Paul Johnson is making chicken salad out of our chicken caca recruits. But you see, I don't. I think our record of late is abysmal. The offensive stats are padded every year with Alabama A & M, Elon, MTSU ooops, Wake, Duke, Kansas, etc. Also the record. We as a coaching staff have not elevated one above average player to a level higher than his entry level. Not a DL, AB, BB, WR, DB --none. Maybe maybe maybe Nealy has improved, but he came in with some physical skill. Days, Hunt-Days, Vad Lee, Waller, all interior linemen have stagnated or regressed.

One game--very small sample size. Syracuse turned it around, got bowl eligible to their credit. I think they won their bowl game too. First time seeing the miracle that is Georgia Tech's option based spread, too. Wait till they see it 2 more times and we'll be toast---with orange marmalade.
