lol not really. Deep in bodies but not experience. Waller and Smelter have been "the guy" for a bit. Smelter was good at it, Waller not as much. Summers and Autry show potential. And that's it.

Can we bring back Megatron? Or Beybey? Please????

We have one good, proven WR. "At least four dependable WRs" What? I only count one. How are guys that have barely played "dependable"? But I guess they (he) is one of the bigger strengths just because there really are no other players on O that stand out...at all. Someone tell me if I'm wrong.

Very curious as to what JT will be able to do with his arm.

I'm guessing he'll use his arm to pitch the ball and 'rocket toss' it alot.

I'm also guessing the Genius still won't see the need to implement any semblance of a real 2-minute, hurry-up offense.

Sadly enough, I agree. Not what I want to happen, but will happen anyway...

    You mean Smelter's 21 catches?

Is that considered good and proven?

My my, has CPJ really lowered the expectations and standards for GT FB!

Once upon a time Kelly Campbell or a Kerry Watkins was considered a "good, proven WR", now under CPJ guys like Smelter with 21 catches in 13 games masquerades as a "good, proven WR".

Geez, can we just fire this guy so we can quickly forget about this era of GT FB!

One day soon a lot of CPJ apologists will look back on their rabid support of CPJ as GT's HC and think to themselves, "WTF was I thinking, what was I going though in life that made me support such a horrible HC"?

Because once PJ gets fired 5 star athletes are going to be coming in droves. First round quarterbacks etc. We will enjoy years of dominating UGA and CFB. Just like we did after when we fired Gailey. Oh wait...we're back to being mediocre. But kind of like we dominated with O'Leary. Oh wait...we were trending downward after Joe Hamilton left. But who cares. How can Bobinski be so stupid? All we have to do is fire this coach and we'll enjoy years of football dominance.

Also, if you can't tell that Smelter is a good player after not playing football for three years, you are a lot dumber than I thought.

Cobb, try the ignore button on MikeBanning aka Wrecks. I did and it's amazing how you don't have to read riff-raff anymore. Trust me, he is a psycho and it hurts him badly when there are no responses to his post.

I don't give mulligans because BCS teams we play don't give mulligans or accept excuses., you are what your level of production says you are!

Smelter had 21 catches in 13 games, that level of production at schools that actually care about winning games, is nothing to get excited about.

To act as if GT FB has a go-to WR and that player only had 21 catches in 13 games is being overly optimistic, I'd rather be guarded and realistic than to be wildly optimistic.

You are wildly optimistic, and you are trashing me because I won't join you in your craziness.

How many LESS catches will Smelter get in 2014 because JT cannot make the same throws that VL can?

GT FB has no proven WRs, don't get mad at me, get mad at CPJ, his fat $2.7MM per yr. salary is what brought us this level of Recruiting.
