    Our next Nationally Significant Game

When will we play our next nationally significant game? There is not one, IMHO, on the foreseeable horizion. Can you imagine the negative recruiting our rivals are directing at players such as Alvin Kamara--you will NEVER be on the big stage during your career if you go to Georgia Tech. Next year's schedule has nearly zero opportunity for a big, relevant-to-the-national-picture game. This is the problem that six and seven win seasons create.. Plus the fact that we have not won many crucial match-ups when we have had the chance lately. Even if we are 3-0 heading to Blacksburg, chances are VPI will have a loss (or two) so little sizzle there. Miami? Could be a battle of undefeateds early in the year, but it could also be a game of 3-1 or even 2-2 teams. After Miami, there are no teams that we can get onto a collision course for that will matter in the national championship discussion. Game Day ain't headed for Atlanta anytime soon.

In a discussion with folkd on other board over SEC dominance. Many say SEC is losing it but last yeara they were seven and three in bowl games and when we matched up with them they whipped our butt.I cant fault the folks we are playing but its hard to get excited with our schdule next year.We win three in a row and go to VT and could whip them but to me we win eight and if we lose to GA all we do is keep PJ for awhile. The ACC and Tech still doesnt have a big rival game like we used to have in the SEC and folks are not going to pay money for PoDunk Univ....I would like to see FSU every year,VT and Clemson and MIami and Georgie ...this would be very good for our recruit and for our fan attendance..hope we solve this but it may be out of our hands. WHAT SAY YE

Depends on where Clemson is and where we are when we meet up. Could be this year. Teams are down in the ACC so it's possible not very probable but possible. I personally think the QB is the most important part of this offense and I think Justin wants to be here and play within the system so we will be better.

The Ga Southern game may pull the highest attendance for the year, seriously.

Absolutely seriously. And we better count our blessing that Jeff Monken is overlooking the Hudson now.

Hey, I am right there with you! But I think Ga Southern lost a couple of it's better athletes and they will be installing a new system. Stonedwall was telling me that Southern had 2 players in the Senior Bowl, just as many as GT! And one of them was a RB! Not so worried about them now given new coaching and system coming in, but I would have been a little nervous had Monken not left.

I'm making it a point to go to that game. Should be some "talent" walking around campus for once!

that's crap. If we lose to GA Southern, Johnson should get canned immediately.
