Gosh hard to say but at least eight wins unless folks on the other side of the ball are better than we think they are.

At best 7-5 with a strong possibility of 6-6 or worse. We're going to lose to all the big 4 then there will likely be a few slip ups that could cost us vs Duke, UNC, UVA, etc.

Folks, it could get ugly. The few impact players we did have are gone with no heir apparent...and with
The ones we did have we were extremely mediocre.

I'll say 8-4. I think we will beat one of the "big 4" and lose to someone random like Pitt. Of course, it's very early for predictions, so I could always change my mind.

I'm with helluva 7-5 maybe if the earth stops spinning on it's axis 8-4 but pj will figure a way to lose one game we should win ala Ugay/VPISU.

If we could not beat UGa in 09 or 13, don't know how we will this year.

Think we win one of VT, CU or UM

BUT, we lose to either unc or duke ( can not beat anyone ALL the time)

Course nobody knows about injuries come end of November.

Lots of posts have referenced UM, CU, UGa (somewhat now) breaking in a new QB. Well now we are as well.

I guess we have to look at it and ask, "what has changed at GT?"

Well, we are breaking in a running back that plays QB with very little difficult throwing and reading coverages involved, just running 3 plays over and over again, so we may be at an advantage there.

But you are exactly right in asking what has changed at GT...for the better? I suppose JT is a change for the better if we're not tweaking the offense (sorry M. Jordan and Custis but thanks for signing). But my biggest worry isn't even QB, it's the RBs. I just don't understand the confidence:

Zach Laskey, Travis Custis, Dennis Andrews, Synjyn Days, Deon Hill, BJ Bostic, Zenon, Charles Perkins and Snoddy are a lot of weapons at RB
A lot of weapons? Really? Because all I see are a lot of names. I'm not saying someone in that group won't have a good year, but I am saying nobody in that group has had a good year yet. At this point I wouldn't call any of them weapons at all, not based on what we've seen. Most of those players have been here for years and haven't shown much at all. That's me being realistic, not pessimistic.

I am torn between 7-5 and 8-4. Can I say 7.5-4.5? We shouldn't be as good next year with the players we have lost, but the schedule is easier.

    6-6 or 7-5.

And the Johnson fans will be thrilled with it, as usual.

I would say 7-5 right now. There are too many holes to fill on the defense to go with a higher win total.
