though, i get where you're coming from that's a big HELLLLLL NOOOO from me!!!
if anyone has one of those damn things next to me in the crowd they're gonna need it surgically removed from their asses, haha! one of THE most annoying artificial noisemakers EVER!!!
i don't think the NCAA has a ban but i believe conferences can pull the string on banning noisemakers. look at SEC and the miss state BS on the cowbells.

It is banned. Any artificial noise maker/instrument is banned for the crowd. Miss St. is allowed their tradition because the rest of the SEC said it was okay (though I think some coaches really don't like it).

I'm with Stoned on this one. I'm no supporter of capital punshment, but I could make an exception for any goofball who brings a vuvuzuela to BDS.
