To the Morons on this Board

Really, have you not see the 2001 - 2004 season. Reggie had a great couple of seasons. @-0 verses Aubrrn (when they were down) and now you want to say Paul Johnson is worse then Chan Gayly.....you guys are the ones who need to be banned.

When did we ever score 30 points a game? Not since our magical 1990 did we even come close. You really want to fire Paul for not producing a 22 point's per game/ season? Yes the win and loses are not what we want, but do you really want a 7-6 season with under 20 points scored per game.

You have to at leat acknowledg that our offense has increased during Paul's time. No more 14-7 losses to Wake Forest in the ACC Championship game....

You mean 9-6. I was there to watch the FG fest as Calvin was thrown to like twice the whole game.

And pissing away a golden opportunity for a TD. 4th and 1 inside the wake 10. Go to your All-ACC, future NFL RB? Who desperately wanted the ball? Nah, your eunuch ass goes for the FG!

One could argue that our defense was actually pretty good under Gailey and Tenuta. And that our defense is just as bad under CPJ as our offense was under Gailey.

I'm not one that is pushing for CPJ to leave, but I just wanted to point out the holes in your argument.

Agree that CPJ is miles above Gomer.

Assuming you're speaking of Chan Gailey right? I remember CPJ going for it on 4th and 1 against Wake.
That's why Gailey sucked. He had a "play it safe" NFL mentality with his play-calling. Because of the talent disparity in college football it mostly pays to take risks.

You have to at least acknowledge that our offense has increased during Paul's time. No more 14-7 losses to Wake Forest in the ACC Championship game....

What you say is some what true but when you score 30+ points yet give up >30 points you lose PERIOD. Your facts may be some what right yet we have a coach who is most of the time if not always DISGRUNTLE with the media yet you, I and many others wonder why we don't get the big guys here. Well bub the boys and parents read and may say we don't want our kids there with that guy. Tech is bigger than Paul Johnson or any other coach for that matter. Do I want to him succeed by golly YES for the SA's, the schools and the fans sake. Do I compare PJ to dumbo yes but only in the way we finish a season. Gailey won a few bowl game, PJ ONE, did dumbo ever have a losing record NO, PJ yes. So quit calling some here MORON we see what we see yet you may be blind to the obvious.

The upside with CPJ is greater than CG IMHO... even though CPJ had some low points

Why is there even a Gailey-johnson debate? Thru five seasons Gailey was 37-27; and Paul Johnson is 40-26. Not an appreciable difference.
