a new listing of players in out --sans Srs.
The first thing I notice is how smallish we are on the DL,esp on the interior.Gotsis is largest at 300.Green is 280.If Kallon is DT he is 289.No surprise here but we AGAIN have a lot to prove on DL play.We essentially are trading a LB for a Def lineman going to the 4-3.Trying to play a new DEf with youngish players might be a lot of pressure on the LBs to make plays. But At least we have some exp there.
Notice that T Henry is down from 227 to 210.JhD is listed up to 253.
Kallon is 308lb's
I'm pretty sure Gotsis has put on more weight.
Gamble around 285
Commingsong comes in at 305
I'm not as concerned, Tech will have one of it's bigger lines in recent years, and for this I do blame Groh.
Never trust the weights given on the roster. They're never right. Heights are suspect, too.
"A compass, I learnt when I was surveying, it'll... it'll point you True North from where you're standing, but it's got no advice about the swamps and deserts and chasms that you'll encounter along the way. If in pursuit of your destination, you plunge ahead, heedless of obstacles, and achieve nothing more than to sink in a swamp... What's the use of knowing True North?"

Tons of redshirts..
So is it CPJ's primary philosophy to redshirt all freshman, cause it just seems that some of these guys could have played last year.
Oh, lighten up already. You're starting off the spring the way you finished the fall. And how is it that going into a game -- UNC and USC two prime examples -- we are going to have our keisters handed to us, yet when we do the handing, they were lousy teams to begin with and we knew it all the time? Arggh.
Haha, if we played all our freshmen, we'd have a lot more losses than that.
Seriously, if you played an 18 year old kid against BYU's 27 year old defenders, we would have lost a lot worse than we did.
Except for when he scored 27 points on Utah and 21 points on USC. If you're gonna post drivel, at least make it accurate.
If your talking about his offense, CPJ didn't score 27 against Utah--defense scored 7 of them
Special teams gets 7 of the USC points by putting the ball on their 1 yard line--I can't give the offense those points
Average offensive scoring in the 5 bowl games is about 14 points
