    The Migration (Recruting Slogan)

Like AA when they ran from the South to escape the oppression of Jim Crow. GT is asking players to come south from enclaves in the North & Midwest...

Thanks. I'm on twitter now and have checked all the related tweets every day. The migration tweets are great and there are others not in the article.

Of course the ones I like best right now are about GT baseball. Our team is on fire. And if we stay healthy will be a serious contender at the end of the year.

Guys from the North and Midwest usually fall in love with GT IF we can get them on campus. We've had quite a few recruits comment on how GT campus has surprised them, and how much they love the city of Atlanta.

GT recruiting on twitter is only limited by the imagination of whoever is posting. I absolutely LOVE what they're doing with CPJ's account, and I like that the assistant coaches are sending out a great message to potential recruits. Now they need to splice videos of our QBs throwing bombs...Dwyer taking it to the house...BeyBey, Hill, and our receivers annihilating coverage...and our ABs being all-around versatile athletes on the field. THAT is what will get kids excited...envisioning themselves making the plays our stars were making in our offense! Even better would be splicing NFL pass plays of Manning and Brady with the same pass plays we ran for big plays. (Though there could be copyright issues there...)

No one was big on Twitter a few weeks ago, now it seems like EVERYONE on this board is talking about it. GTSportstalk has joined "the Migration"...to twitter!

The baseball team is just crushing the ball right now...but I'm more interested in whether they can continue this during conference play. ACC baseball is always the measuring stick since it's one of the top baseball conferences in the college ball. We'll know whether this team is ready for Omaha once we face the FSU's, Miami's, and Clemson's of our schedule.

Ha, that's awesome. The Bear Grylls one was my favorite.

On another note, looks like some UGA fan was talking trash about GT losing to MTSU, the ACC sucking, etc. and a few football players jumped in the squabble but Vad came in and told them to leave it alone and get ready for running in the a.m.. Sounds like a damn good leader. I like it.

Saw that. Looks like we have a Joe Hamilton-like leader at QB right now. He's really earned their respect, and he's only a RS-SO.
