    Wow, Morris & Johnson are going to be very tough behind that OL. Their OL was pretty good last year and they return every starter.

    Good news is their DL wasn't very goood. They were young though, and Chickillo will be good. Dunno who all they might have recruited who can step in there.

    Thought we'd be the Coastal favorites on paper but after seeing who all Miami returns and the fact that we play at their place I'm going to have say they'll be favored. Hopefully their D will suck and ours will be better than last year. Will be an interesting ball control battle.

    It is only March and we're giving up on the National Championship?

    I refered to this issue a week ago that Miami had an extermely young team last year that also had several starters injured at the time that they played us
    That was the time to beat them
    CPJ got out coached and lost the game both in regalar time and over time
    This season Miami is at home against us, they are more experienced, and they are more talented

    And better coached.

    Golden has a plan and unless they are hit with severe scholarship limitations, they can recruit themselves to the head of the Coastal class. The ACC could finally have the FSU-Miami match-up they have been coveting for years.

    We're doomed.

    The man is just saying it will be an uphill battle.Would be surprising if they are not favored in the game which BY DEFINITION is a very tough game-right?,Cheese

    How did CPJ get out coached? Our defense allowed Miami to go 74 yards (FG), 82 yards (td), 88 yards (missed FG), and 91 yards in their last four possessions. Morris was a combined 18/30 236 yards and 1 TD on those drives. I would say Al Groh got out coached more than CPJ. All our offense had to do was not turn the ball over (which they didn't) and we should have won the game.

    Well, just 3 examples would be;
    1) not being able to score in the 4th quarter
    2) his play calling when we had the ball prior to Miami's final 4th quarter drive--including not going for it on 4th and inches at the 50 yard line
    3) his play calling in overtime

    Complimented by 3 consecutive punts by the offense to finish out the game plus the epic collapse in OT. They both started sucking at the same time. Up until the mid 3rd qtr the D gave up 17 points (not terrible) PLUS gave the offense the ball back with TWO turnovers! The defense came unhinged at the same time the O stalled. Go look at the drive summary.

    We've already been around this circle numerous times. Both the O and the D stunk in the 4th qtr.
