I'd put it at 7, if for no other reason than no Middle Tenn/Ala A&M instead. This squad could win 9/10, or it could win 7. You never know what a change in philosophy will do for a team.

Don't be bitter. Maybe some GT nerd beat him up and took his lunch money when he was a kid...or maybe he just isn't impressed with our team? He can't predict everybody to win 10 games.

I agree with confederate...he wasn't that far off...I would say 7 as well.

This is what he said:

Georgia Tech was just an average team last season, but now the Yellow Jackets will have to move on without quarterback Tevin Washington.

The Yellow Jackets should be right around the .500 mark, similar to last season.

The schedule is the usual, with Georgia in Atlanta to close out the regular season and a few easy non-conference games. A road trip to BYU will be a very interesting matchup.

It is looking like another season in the middle of the improving ACC for Georgia Tech.

He must not follow the team very closely. Anyone who's seen Vad play is scared of what we're gonna be this year. The sky is the limit with this kid. Though, I would expect some growing-pains losses, kind of like 2008 with Nesbitt.

I actually completely disagree with him. Dumb, dumb, reason. In fact, I would say his reason for us being mediocre again is actually a part of the reason we will be better.

I think Vad's completion % for the first half of the 2013 season will likely be below Tevin's completion % for the first half of 2012, but our passing yards will be much higher. Just throwing that out there.
