But it sure can be positive National exposure if this seasons team plays like we HOPE that it does.
In the past GT football has often been JUST GOOD ENOUGH TO BREAK YOUR HEART!

I believe we are on the way to getting where we all want to be - Win Championships, and be more competitive with UGa and Bowl Games.

QB's looking up, WR's coming along(?), Welcome CTR, CMP and new AD, We have some good recruiters with a good class coming, Stamps back to ST's, all 3 phases should be better this year than last. We have team speed to match anyone we play.

    What's not to like?

Me too. Traffic is pain. I usually take a half day at work to beat trafiic. The atmosphere is not there like on Saturday.

Both Thursday games would be preceded by a bye week. That is very good for us.

I don't like the games unless I can take Friday off.

Completely disagree. On those special Thursday afternoons, campus is buzzing all day during the lead up to the game. It's fantastic as a student. Though, I can understand your woes with traffic.

Bot to mention that I have no excuse on Saturday for the wife to be sitting in front of the TV all day

Isn't that extra time for our opponents to prepare for our H.S. offense?

Sucks for out of town season ticket holders

I like Thursday night games and I am an out-of-town season-ticket holder. Despite the trafffic, the late hour getting home and the unpredictable atmosphere. Our Thursday games have had jacked up atmospheres (UM in '08 (?)(the white-out game), and we've had funereal atmospheres (VT '05(?)(the Taylor Bennett first-play from scrimmage "time-out" face-plant game)

Anyway, I've always liked the concept of Thursday night football and it generally carries over into me liking GT Thursday night football. It's one area where I think ESPN tends to like us since we've been on-board with thursday football since they introduced it.
