Hey Lex! Sorry about repeating your thread - it was so low on the thread list I didn't see it. And you know me, I'm excited when I feel I can contribute something around here! And it's funny, before I posted it I actually thought, "surprised Lex has seen this yet!" We think mostly alike (I'm a Uni fan!)!

Not gonna make it, although I'd really love to. Gotta be there just 3 wks later to pick up my son for summer. From the comments last year, I really hope the students & fans show up, and show the team, the new AD & the new DC, enthusiastic support. Show them they ALL made the right decision.

I'd like to make it too. Next year at this time there's a decent chance I'll be residing in GA, so I won't have an excuse then.

That was me L. Biviano. Thanks for the update. I'm super excited about the fact that we'll get to play under the lights again. Was an awesome and unique atmosphere for a spring game.

Oh thanks Hurricane. I love the sharing of information; I appreciate it when I get it, so I like to pass it on. I love GT football. My son just graduated in Dec, but is there getting his Master's. This September will be the last Family Weekend we attend, but I plan on continuing the yearly tradition of attending at least one home game. The atmosphere is unbelievable - D1 football at a school with such a rich fb history, including 4 NCs. I'd be at every game if I lived there. Talk it up among your friends, get um all to go. You seem like a great fan, and great fans make the best cheerleaders.

Off the top of my head we've got a group of at least 8 people already committed to go and will be doing the best to convince everybody else I know to show up too. Trying to help out the new AD by building up as much interest in GT sport in general and football in particular among the students younger than myself. Also have a buddy who's trying to set up an informal dinner with Bobinski for a group of students who aren't Greek affiliated or already SA's to try and get a voice with the new athletic administration. If that actually happens (this friend is known for grand plans that fall through when faced with reality) I'll try and keep everyone up to date on how stuff goes. Go Jackets!

I plan to be at the game with my wife (both GT grads). Plus my daughter (grad) and son-in-law to be (a former GT player). I'd love to talk with Bobinski.
