Omg....
Who cares how the players like the unis. The fans are what matter.
Well I'll speak for Mack. Since I was pretty sick this past summer and fall I didn't get to any games but what a friend and Techster said and I quote "if you think they are horrible on TV you should see them in real life". Well she out to know as she's a grad and has seen many games and is one hell of a fan!
I had the extreme pleasure of attending the Duke game with Lexjacket and his righteous posse. Foggy, I am not a fan of our present apparel in the least---but the sky was blue, the air was crisp, the sun shone bright, and the whistle blew prodigiously throughout the day. It was Tech football, we won, and the uniforms detracted from the fun not one bit. I drank a beer with my little sister, channeled my dear departed dad, IM Class of 1950, and had a great time. Hope you can get back to the Flats this year. Get Lexjacket to host you to the pre-game meal at the Varsity. It puts things right. To Hell with Georgia!
No they don't. They are kids. They generally have poor taste, make bad decisions and change their minds often. Who cares what they think about uniforms? The old guys that stroke the checks are the ones that matter as far as how the Institute is represented. Uniforms should not be subject to the fad of the day (not that ridiculous chicken wire mesh is a fad) All the players need to worry about is football.
You think if the players walked into Saban's office and told him they wanted "cooler" uniforms that he would give a damn? He would probably make them run sprints for wasting his time.
