According to Eric Thompson he is visiting NC State this weekend. I guess that means CPJ is pulling his scholly.

People need to think.
It doesn't matter if we pull Ramos 'ship or not. He is so enamored of NC State that he's decided he is willing to visit even if it means he loses his place at GT. And he's about to go to a place where he'll be shown ridiculous amounts of love and be under a tremendous amount of pressure to flip. It will be new, it will be exciting, his name will be in the news, and he will do what almost all the kids who take the last minute visits do. He will flip to NC State.
He will not go to NC State because we pulled his scholarship. The threat of pulling the scholarship is the mechanism by which we hope to prevent the NC State visit. Because as we all know, it's over 90% chance he flips if he visits.
BTW, we have his HS coaches to thank. They have been very consistent in attempting to steer Custis & Ramos away from GT.
Also note that Mitchell & Ramos have been the biggest risks to decommit and if we fans have known this for a long time I'm quite certain the coaches have known as well. I am sure we will pick up some guys we've been keeping quiet and possibly a flip or two of our own. Just how it works.

It's actually been surprisingly uneventful up until today. It sucks, but it's not totally unexpected.

I remember reading about Custis saying he's 100% Tech, and they asked Ramos how he felt....he was pretty shaky to say the least. Honestly, I think Jeune is the better fit for our offense but I'd still love to have Ramos. I, for the life of me, don't understand how kids commit for months and then at the last second freak out and visit other places.
