Judge rules NCAA athletes can legally pursue television money - ESPN
Another brick in the NCAA wall of hypocrisy may be coming down. 5 years from now I hope / expect the NCAA to be out of elite football and basketball. The four superconferences will have their own league and means of sharing revenue. How much of it goes to the kids is the question.
Not treating college athletes as employees (they are paid a scholarship) so that the long term medical costs are avoided by the NCAA / schools in wrong.
What about Videogame money? These kids have their identities stolen every year for the NCAA Football game and don't see a dime.
Video games are another court case that the NCAA will lose. How to distribute the money will be (and always has been) the central issue.
