1) According to GT recruitniks, PJ visited Damon Mitchell in-home and Damon has agreed to cancel his remaining visits! A huge guy for us, glad he's sticking with GT.
2) They're trying, but Custis is All In for GT. JuMichael Ramos is mostly in Top recruit focused on Georgia Tech | College Recruiting | www.ajc.com
BTW Custis and Ramos are being sought after by the kind of schools we like to beat. Auburn, F$U, Florida, Miami, etc.
Good news about DM, but nobody is "all in" until they sign. Don't forget, we try to poach kids from other programs at the 9th hour, too. We're presently trying to sway a kid committed to THE Ohio State University.
"A compass, I learnt when I was surveying, it'll... it'll point you True North from where you're standing, but it's got no advice about the swamps and deserts and chasms that you'll encounter along the way. If in pursuit of your destination, you plunge ahead, heedless of obstacles, and achieve nothing more than to sink in a swamp... What's the use of knowing True North?"

I really like his size, and he is a tough runner..
I know he desires to become more of a passer and he will have time to do so, I've read he has a strong arm.
Still need D-Line help
Badly..
I am hoping we can sway a DL from Auburn, since all of their coaches are gone and we have their DL coach.
Trying not to get TOO excited, drink the Kool-Aid, but -
With what we have on the roster right now, what we have in RS, if we get what we expect come signing day, I can forsee a very special (by GT standards) football team here within the next 2-3-4 years.
It appears we may have shored up our need for QB and an effective passing game if one or two WR's will develop, we have some potential studs to play RB, the OL and entire D are looking up, we may have found the right guy for DC and he is already bringing in some good help in a DL coach who can also recruit, ST's get Stamps back full time, we have team speed to match anyone on our schedule...
What's not to like?
Except for the uniforms...
In the past GT football has often been JUST GOOD ENOUGH TO BREAK YOUR HEART!
I believe we are on the way to getting where we all want to be - Win Championships, and be more competitive with UGa and Bowl Games.
QB's looking up, WR's coming along(?), Welcome CTR, CMP and new AD, We have some good recruiters with a good class coming, Stamps back to ST's, all 3 phases should be better this year than last. We have team speed to match anyone we play.
What's not to like?
From that article:
Um...right now it seems GT is really his only choice...One of Custis’ teammates, wide receiver Jumichael Ramos, is also headed to Georgia Tech. Ramos, the basketball-turned-football star, has generated a ton of recent attention from Auburn, N.C. State, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Florida State. None have offered yet.
“I’m pretty sure I’m going to Georgia Tech but I’m also going to keep my options open for the best choice,” Ramos told the AJC. “Right now, Georgia Tech seems like it would be the best choice for me.”
yeah, I noticed that also.I'm yours until something else comes along.
On a different note ,some are saying a DE from Huntsville has an offer from us. Parker Cothren 6-5,265 and plays Bball.Good player but not a dominant guy here.(there was a rumor of how he beat a Parade AA OL in a matchup game but it seems the OL got hurt and went out and Cothren had a big game)
Has already changed committments from Troy to Purdue and now?
