I recorded the NC game and did some slow mo looks at a few of the plays. I have to say that bama has some HUGE football players. Will we ever be able to recruit monsters like these guys on both offense and defense? While watching some of the plays, I had this vision of Tech having a bunch of heavy weights on both sides of the ball. They were big and fast and we were just dominating every play. Then I woke up. My wife said I was day dreaming again and she deleted the game from the DVR.![]()
Alabama currently has 4 five star and 9 four star commits. We have 0 five star and 2 four star commits. You do the math.
(I guess they just have better recruiters than us...)

"A compass, I learnt when I was surveying, it'll... it'll point you True North from where you're standing, but it's got no advice about the swamps and deserts and chasms that you'll encounter along the way. If in pursuit of your destination, you plunge ahead, heedless of obstacles, and achieve nothing more than to sink in a swamp... What's the use of knowing True North?"

Does stars equal size in OL and DL men? Does size equal performance? My uneducated guess is that, when considerring the job of an offensive lineman, to create a human wall, that size equals stars. When considerring the job of a deffensive lineman, to breach the human wall, that size can be a hinderance? This gets into scheme philosophy, doesn't it? As in fast and mobile smaller O linemen can take out the defensive front better vs big and slow O linemen can hold the wall, etc...
Is it fair to say that Alabama has demonstrated to the world which philosophy is best?
Go JACKETS! THWG!
If you haven't noticed, Tech last class and this up coming group of players recruited are big. The up coming O-Line will be massive.
The program is transitioning its a process.
You don't have to be large to cut block.

I think one of the announcers said that Bammer's OL would have 3-4 first round picks when they came out. Not a bad line.
I apologize in advance:
I hate Alabama. I'm certain that they are cheating in one form or another - maybe more.
