    Did you notice?

these interesting things in the game

    1. when we were pinned back in the 2nd half we ran a new? wrinkle with the Bback to breakout big .It looked like a delayed stretch handoff that got the bback to the 3 hole (between LG and LT instead of LG and C ) and allowed the G and T to crossblock and .very effective-was that the first time we ran that?

    2. Milton gets lead article about how he's replacing IJ and somehow Golden plays -the whole game?

    3. Nealy gets a int in 2nd straight bowl game-ck the records

    4. When Smith ran in that pass for TD how easy he made that look.He actually had to reach behind and spin .Then had the 170 lb DB bounce off him- I wonder if our 175 lb Abacks would have scored?

5.interesting that Jackson and I believe Moore caught their longest pass of yr in this game-it takes those type of happenings to win-reminds me of the awbern game in 03 when our TE williams and converted QB Hogan both caught the biggest passes of their careers

I think we ran a similar off tackle/stretch play to the b gap. I haven't re-watched the 2nd half and didn't notice the play your talking about so it could be something completely different then what I'm thinking of. Maybe Boomer or Stylee can comment on it...

I believe he started and then was injured himself...

Zenon and Bostic are the only two under 180...D Hill is 207, Godhigh is 188, days is 215

Wish Jackson could've done more for us. Moore still has a chance. Just glad some guys stepped up with J Greene gone...

I would love to see implementation of classic Broncos/Texans/Redskins stretch running plays, and naked boots..
Oh, like the ones we saw during Vad's TD scoring series.

Where the hell did the announcers get the info that Vad runs a 4.3 forty?! They said it more than once. The legend grows.

Actually, you're wrong. They said it was 4.25. I dunno if he even has a 40 time, but whatever it is, it is plenty fast enough. I thought he was gone a couple of times when he got tackled by, literally, a shoe lace.

They said 4.25 and 4.3 at different times. I believe they said PJ told them that?

No way. He's plenty fast enough and has a nice burst that will burn by most defenders, but a 4.3 forty? Shiiiit....if he was that fast he needs to be playing WR so he has a shot at the NFL. I'll believe 4.45'ish?

I have no idea what his actual time is, but I know this, he is a heck of a lot faster than I ever imagined he would be. He gobbles up a lot of turf with those long strides. I can't think of a single QB in TECH's history who is as effectively fast as VL, not S. Jones, not J. Hamilton. Combined with his size and apparent strength, he is a tough kid to stop running the ball.

Scout had him at 4.54 and Rivals at 4.45.

I suppose he could be faster than that now, but those long strides make him deceptively fast. If we can get him and Snoddy in the backfield at the same time we'll have a helluva fast backfield.

How about Vad, Snoddy and Justin Thomas in the same backfield? How's that for speed?
