    Wow, quoting the article:

"Johnson said he had based his decision {on firing Groh} on results but it appears there were other issues.

"Just to say it briefly, this circumstance here was the most unprofessional, divisive and negative environment in which I've ever been," Groh said. "To say more would be unprofessional of myself."

So he won't say it was unprofessional, divisive and negative then.

if you are sucking at your job, it's really easy to say it's a divisive, negative environment. like most things in life, if you're not performing, the person in charge usually isnt too happy. 2-4 and giving up >40 ppg means you are NOT doing your job. how many games where if we held the opponents to 30 points do we win? ..... CAG can go get ******

Not surprised to hear this about Johnson's regime.

11 out of 12. When will this stop?

Besides pulling guys from DEf over to Off how can PJ really hurt Groh in his position as HEAD Def coach.Groh was resposible for the 40/pts per game- including the WORST ever MdThSt.I'm sure that PJ is a butt but come on-look at the results since Groh left playing mostly BETTER teams.

Why does it not surprise you? Have you had similar experiences with Paul Johnson? Has he offended you personally?

Don't know beans about it. But what is a fact is that post-Groh, GT won five of eight games, and in the last two, six quarters, gave up just seven points against supposedly strong offenses. The other fact is that whatever Groh is saying, his defense was giving up seven touchdowns a game, routinely. If there was a bad atmosphere there, do we wonder why?

"The Jackets did end up in the ACC title game and beat USC, and improved in every major statistical category since his departure."

"Bazinga" as the great philospher once said.

    What do you mean?

And AG is just trying to position himself for a new job. He figures if he blames his performance on "the unprofessional culture" someone will ignore his 40 pts per game he gave up.

    AG said this earlier
“I appreciate all the help and input from (assistant defensive coaches) Charles Kelly, Joe Speed and Andy McCollum, and the effort of all the players,” part of Groh’s statement read. “I aimed to give the best that I had every day. It’s been an honor to be a part of the legacy of Georgia Tech football.”

What does that quote say about CPJ's regime? What exactly does his "regime" consist of anyway? The players? The assistant coaches? The Institution? Did AG not thank all of those?

What exactly do you mean by CPJ's regime?
