Yikes!!! That's the last thing a guy like me ought to hear. There were times when PJ's O looked horrendous, especially when trying to get outside, but at least we held them to fewer points than we were able to muster.

The outside play was stifled due to some speed and athleticism from SC... Like UGA, FSU, their focus was to take away the explosive perimeter play and the QB runs, which is why the B-backs had a big day... they were playing a 4-4 even front with the MLBs playing pretty deep with the OLBs playing far closer to the LoS... Plus, our O-line whiffed a couple times...

ESPN stats show Fred Holton intercepted last pass. I didn't get that from watching telecast. If so, he must have recovered well from the ankle tendon surgery he had during season. Can anyone verify that ?

Not to worry. Before the day is out the anti-s -- of everything Johnson and option -- will regroup and unleash their attacks, something on the order of USC being uninspired, badly coached, way overrated and probably communist spies really trying to steal a drone, and pronounce in great wisdom that this meant nothing and that not only Johnson but all his coaches and most of his players ought to be exiled to Georgia State. Some folks on the board are not happy unless they make everybody else miserable. Personally, when GT holds a team that averaged 34 points to seven, and an all-world receiver to six catches and about 40 yards, that is a solid day's work.

But lest I miss the boat, let me get ahead of the curve by saying those PF on the last USC drive were all committed by Paul Johnson. He just kept switching numbers.
