11 out of 12. When will this stop?
Bobby Godd never, not once, ever blamed his boys for a loss. It was always on his shoulders, and his shoulders alone. That is greatness. This is not. --YukonWreck

I have confidence in Milton. When you watch the film it is easy to see that he has done some really good things already when he was in there. In many ways, this is like the same situation with TW and VL. It just doesn't get the same scrutiny because it is the defensive side of the ball and that position speeds half its time outside the TV field of view. The incumbent is more experienced but less physically gifted. Like TW, IJ has played better this season, especially the second half. There have been fewer busted coverages and maddening over runs on plays. Yet, he still leaves a good bit to be desired with a lack of speed and physicality. Milton, although on the smallish side for that position, has ++ speed. I don't think there is a guy out there who he isn't fast enough to cover. Despite his size that he is a good tackler. He isn't big enough to fly forward and stone guys in the run game, but he does a great job of getting low while maintaining forward momentum and taking people's legs out while wrapping up. The big question in my mind will be the knowledge and experience deficit. This is a new position and the potential for busts will be there.
Milton's fast and a good player. But unfortunately:
1. He didn't play DB in HS.
2. He's fast but he won't be able to keep up with Lee or Woods.

Milton has been the best player by far this season on special teams in the coverage game. Has shown a lot of speed and ability. Good tackler and hopefully he can be a playmaker in the secondary. To be honest, it probably won't make much of a difference if our DL play continues to suck.
Milton is the best option without having to move someone out of the corner spots.
Milton's gonna get smoked--2 of the best wide receivers in the country against a freshman playing out of position
If the roles were revearsed, i.e., Stephen Hill, BeBe, or Calvin Johnson going up against a USC freshman whose experience was that of some other position besides that of the secondary, then we would all be stating that our receivers would have a record setting day
They should play Golden given that he's played safety earlier in the season...
Milton will not get smoked any worse than Johnson would. IJ has gotten burned, lost, confused more times this year than any db Tech has. Secondly he can't tackle. Milton can do no worse imo. It seems like every Tech game I watched this year (which is everyone) I asked what is Isaiah doing or why is not covering that wide open man he let go or nice whiff on the tackle attempt.
