I found it very intriguing that Brandon Watts didn't play in the first half and in his press conference Johnson said that Brandon didn't play because he was hurt but then decided to give it a try in the second half.
I didn't see it reported anywhere that Watts was hurt. Did anybody see anything about that in the mainstream media?
Wasn't it Brandon Watts who said after last week's game that the defense wasn't prepared properly??
Do you think the dots connect?
Another GT player on Facebook said that he's playing the rest of the season for his teammates and his family. No mention of the coaches.. a very interesting omission.
I thought the Watts thing curious myself. Also interesting about the Facebook post...

11 out of 12. When will this stop?
Bobby Godd never, not once, ever blamed his boys for a loss. It was always on his shoulders, and his shoulders alone. That is greatness. This is not. --YukonWreck

I noticed that, Jim, but I don't think that particular young man was thinking about the coaches when he said that, but maybe it is possible.
If you heard some of the things I heard yelled at the sidelines today from the lower west stands, then I think that might be what he is referring to, that and some of these blogs that he probably reads......
Jim:
Do you think PJ's hesitance to play VL is more about the perception of Tevin among the player ranks as the "sr leader" or that he truly believes that Tevin is the man? I am so confused. Doesn't VL have a good repoire with his teammates, even the upperclassmen? I am so confused.

Its just hard for me to believe that Tevin gives us the best chance to win. He is horrible when you need something clutch.

I think at some time soon CPJ is gonna have to take the keys from Tevin and put Vad in the driver seat. After today I feel like this is pretty much a lost season, might as well start playing Vad to prepare him for next year. I truly hope CPJ keeps his job as HC but for the love of God fire Al Groh!!!!
