The guy needs to start, I really don't see us losing a game with him starting that we wouldn't lose with Tevin starting, I've actually grown to like Tevin a lot, but now it's about winning now AND getting Vad ready for next year. He needs in game reps.

Snoddy, I get, though Laskey is not that much better as a blocker, though some. Sims is a load, and in my miasma sometimes I figure his blocking alone qualifies him to get the playing time, since Washington trying to follow anybody else into the hole is a loser. But they want to get Lee some playing time? Really? What the hell, have they already decided Thomas is next year's QB? Stop the presses. This kid deserves, the fans deserve, quality playing time, with the game on the line, with a chance to run the playbook, and that includes throwing the damned ball all over the lot. Let's see what he can do or can't do. And Days needs to get quality playing time at A back, with the game on the line. Let's face it: Smith is only adequate as a blocker, Godhigh actually is pretty good, and everybody else is hide-your-eyes-and-pray when blocking. So Days is worse? Doesn't look good for the rest of the year or next, does it?

While I don't in my heart believe it, Johnson leaves the impression that he is so damned stubborn to be right that he won't play Lee just because. It is not that he is tied to Washington, but to his own intransigence. He says Lee is not ready by god and that is that. How he plans to get him ready he doesn't say.

agree 100%! we're gonna win/lose the same number of games at this point with either under center. play the future starter and get him seasoned for next year when we wanna turn up the heat. i don't want him to go through his growing pains next year when tevin's working a 9-to-5.

with all these returning starters and CAG's 4th year with this D, it will pay off playing him now, IMO.

Haven't you seen the stats? TW is on pace to be the greatest option QB in the history of Paul Johnson.
