Laskey moves ahead of Perkins at B-back | Georgia Tech
Where's Helluva?
He's melting down right now wherever he is.
"A compass, I learnt when I was surveying, it'll... it'll point you True North from where you're standing, but it's got no advice about the swamps and deserts and chasms that you'll encounter along the way. If in pursuit of your destination, you plunge ahead, heedless of obstacles, and achieve nothing more than to sink in a swamp... What's the use of knowing True North?"

I jokingly said in another thread that there were few certainties in life, but one of them is GT's backup BB will always be white. Looks like the joke may be reality soon!
Snoddy to BB could be high risk/high reward with his elite speed.
Here's something from another AJC post that bodes well for our BB's:
Tech starts second week of fall camp | Georgia Tech
Saturday, Jackson said, “we were kind of getting our feet wet with” the shotgun stuff. But, he noted, “we were killing it” on the fullback dives. “So that’s always good to have to go to.”
Also from the AJC post, Vad Lee looks like he's losing a little ground since he's still having difficulty grasping our base offense. Anyone still want to argue that he should play ahead of Tevin? Sounds like he may not play at all if he doesn't get in gear with our option stuff. If Vad is #3 QB now, who's #2? Synjyn...but aren't they moving him AB/BB/WR? A lot on Synjyn's plate.
the southern forums were in major turmoil over the installation of the shotgun by monken. it was civil war for awhile! but, as the traditionalists realized this gives the O a completely different wrinkle through which the option can be run they came around. just because you're not under center doesn't mean you've gotta throw the friggin' rock. it was tough to convince some of that! they had to see it for themselves.
Anthony Autry making some noise at WR! Not bad for a kid we didn't offer until late and the recruiting sites didn't even rate until we offered.
Something tells me we'll be just fine at WR...
It's kinda cool to see CPJ's offenses at different schools and how his disciples have tweaked it. Monken is really creative with it...and I'm sure having a brother with a top offense at Oklahoma State certainly helps when it comes time to bounce around ideas. LOVED what Monken did against Bama with waaaaay less talent.
Also...if any school "owns" this offense, it's Southern. I can only imagine how life was down there when the new coaches came in and decided to quit using it. Though I wish they would have given Chris Hatcher a little more time. That dude had a NASTY offense at VSU.
