Shamire Devine. He's had a great summer on the recruiting service and college camp circuit.
The guy has the talent and disposition to be a GT favorite before it's all said and done:
Top recruit: “There’s nothing on God’s green earth that will change my mind about …” | AJC College Sports Recruiting
BTW...as good as his teammate Jeremi Hall is, he's actually pretty underrated based on his highlight tape.Where else would DeVine want to visit? “I want to go to Hawaii, California and New York – all the scenery places. But I’m 100-percent committed to Georgia Tech. There’s nothing on God’s green earth that will change my mind about that, besides them dropping me. That’s it. I love it there.”
300+ pound guys are NOT suppose to move like that...much less as a 10th grader! Both of them can play in any offensive scheme...but they will be absolute studs in our system. Our offensive line may be approaching the golden years once they become official GT SA's.

Thanks for the post.
Great to hear. I hope he travels a lot. I just heard back from some kids/parents who went to FASET and are even more in love with GT than before. There is a lot going for GT.
I think it's ok as long as they tell Paul first
"I am to liquor what the crocodile hunter is to alligators"
" Don't grab my keys when the party's over, I drive better drunk than you do sober"

CPJ has always said "Big and fast is better than small and fast." There's nothing new in his philosophy. There may be a change in what he's able to land, however. The Devine kid has one rare charactistic the "Big and fast" OL's that go to Bamer and LSU and Uga don't have: he gives a damn about his edumacation.
