Nice. I like our focus on the lines of scrimmage. And, as stonewall mentioned, we beat out some good programs for this kid.
Griffin also looks like he can put on more weight. Good get!

we keep this kinda OL recruiting up and we could have an OL averaging 6'5" and most likely in the 290-320 lbs range within a few years once these kids have been molded for our offense and are ready to contribute with kids we're already grooming. who can't fall in love with that?!

anybody run across vid on this kid? blog posts say he's from a flexbone offense and should be well versed in the blocking schemes/style already. just need to get some college weight on him which shouldn't be an issue with his 6'6" frame.

This kid is projected at OT. Our OT's have to be quick, nimble, fast. Just watch any rocket toss play and see how important an OT who can move is. A lot of times they're blocking the last guy on the LOS who many times is a much lighter and faster OLB.

thanks! this is a very solid get for us, IMO. it's sweet that he's already versed in our offense. tremendously flattens out his learning curve. remember, guys on southern's OL who are four inches shorter than him but around the same weight were blowing up bama's DL last season cause they fired off the ball and executed well. add a few pounds to this kid with his knowledge and look out!
