Tuitt had a pretty good freshmen campaign on the field, but had some transition issues off the field. Remember, one of his good friends, Demon Smith is on scholarship here and this is where he wanted to be. Brian Kelly is douche of the highest order...actually any coach that would do that to 18-20 year old is (Derek Dooley...ahem...).
Why is Brian Kelly doing this? How do you know for certain that he is blocking transfers?

The Aaron Lynch incident is documented...you can look it up.

Will Notre Dame block a Lynch transfer to a Florida school? - Yahoo! Sports

As for Tuitt, like I said, they're just "whispers" I've gleaned from TOS's...so take it with a grain of salt. Why would Kelly block kids? Same reason why other coaches block kids from transferring to other schools who don't appear on their future schedules...because they're vindictive and the NCAA allows them to.

Looks like we still have a decent chance......... this one will probably go on for quite a while ........ as I said earlier, at least he is considering two good academic schools. Nigel Bowden: Ex-Georgia Tech commit is still considering Jackets | AJC College Sports Recruiting

They are a commit until they sign the papers, really wish we could have early signing.

UUhhhh, do we have any choice

The coaching staff should continue to pursue other DBs, and fill the spont if a solid commit comes up. But realistically he is the best we are apparently really in the hunt for. I base this on prospects listed at Scout Scout.com: Football Recruiting

    Es lo que es
You are so right. The three biggest questions most HS juniors agonize over are whether to wear their pants 7 inches low or 9 inches low, 3G or 4G network for their smart phone, and should I supersize my fries. This kid is already ahead of the pack if he's seriously considering Vanderbilt or Georgia Tech instead of Clempsen or FSU.

One plus we have going for us this recruiting season is that Bowden can look at our class so far, and really see a quality group. I don't know who Vanderbilt has commited so far, but I would bet we have a better bunch.
