VOTE: Panic or patience with start of Georgia Tech’s 2013 recruiting class? | AJC College Sports Recruiting
"“We know where we’re at in recruiting. I think we’re doing just fine. We’ll start to get some kids here in the next month or so. I’ve already had some kids tell me that they’re coming. They just don’t want to announce it yet."
Robert Nkemdiche is coming...sweet!
Cool, hope we start getting some news soon. On a side note, isn't it funny how the Athens butt sniffers act like the Tech game is no big deal, then the retards fill the GT blogs with "a$$"inine comments?
Not sure what our QB situation is for this year, but GT needs to get on this kid:
Anthony Jennings, #12 - QB, Class of 2013 - YouTube
Who is the state’s best college prospect at QB? | AJC College Sports Recruiting
Anthony Jennings, QB for Marietta High School. Saw him play against my nephew's team last year and didn't think GT would have a chance in hell of getting him since he's so polished in the passing game. But it sounds like he's open to playing in our offense....and given that CPJ is willing to install the Pistol for Vad, that's got to make a guy like Jennings think twice. I think he's actually a better passer than Vad coming out of High School, and he fits into the Vad Lee mold: Great passer, but fast enough and athletic enough to run the option.
"What about Georgia Tech? “I haven’t really heard from them but it’s a top ACC program that is always winning and doing things the right way,” Jennings said. “I feel like if they come into the picture with an offer, I really would look into them hard.” What about the option offense? “I think my style of QB would fit there, or with anybody.”
Sounds like the kid was playing at less than 100% last year...that's CRAZY, 'cause he was an absolute stud last year. UGA is crazy for not recruiting him...that kid would crawl to UGA if they offered him. Their oversight could be our gain....Get on it, CPJ!
It's not so much about SD at AB (I would love to see him there) than it is about every QB conversation we have about anyone not named Kevin or Vad ending with "he can always play AB!"
