Lovejoy's Travis Custis. Other offers incl. Miami, Michigan St, Miss St, Vandy, others. 6-0 205lbs. Haven't seen any film yet but hear he's a load and a legit 4.5. Looks like B-back with some A-back crossover potential.
CPJ must have just finished reading our epic Bback thread and decided to get off his dufus and get us one.
ps. from the same hs as our very own Tashard Choice. Same jersey # infact (#22).

i like this from his HS coach:
“Travis is a power runner. He’s a slasher but also has great breakaway speed. He’s an Adrian Peterson-type of runner. That’s his style … he can run through a tackle or around a tackle. Travis has got that extra gear of speed. Every time he touches the ball, there’s a chance he can take it to the house."

I really like his film. There are a lot of positives. He has good vision and has the ability to change direction quickly. He runs hard and appears to like the physical part of the game. He has a second gear that allows him to separate in the open field. He will be a good one. He doesn't remind me of anybody in particular, but that don't matter.
Just watched the "film" and I like what I saw. Must be some hellashous backs in A ball for him to only make HM.
the runs he makes at the :40 and 1:47 marks display ALL the talents you want in a BB--toughness, balance, ball protection, looking for daylight, then the next gear to take it to the house. the move he makes at the 3:28 mark to cut the run outside to daylight was sweet! shows his quick feet and vision. great hands, too!
100% legit BB who's about as "oven-ready" as we could ask outta a recruit coming into our next class, IMO. i'd love to see how quick he can hit the LOS outta a 3-point stance in the backfield. if he's got any bit of a crease he's gonna smoke into the second level.
