Recruiting with flash on the flats.

I love how the staff utilized this on campus event to create excitement during these recruits recent visit. How many programs get similar opportunities? Being in downtown, well midtown, is once again beneficial.

if they only could have had cameos! of course, that's surely against NCAA rules and we'd have to self-report.

So much for Helluva's claim that Aback is such a hard sell for top prospects. Here's JJ Green's take: (according to the ajc, Green is "one of the state’s hottest prospects.")

“It went great at Georgia Tech; they want me at A-back or running back,” Green said. “I like that a lot. It feels great. I want to get the ball in my hands so I can make something happen.”
Truth be told, I kind of agree with ol' Helluva, top tailbacks won't flock to the Aback role at GT. But that doesn't mean there aren't top "athletes", with tweener type frames that won't dig it. Hell, Percy Harvin types are tailor made. And, CPJ is creative enough to make sure your best players touch the ball more often nomatter what position they play. Bring on the mighty mites! We can pair them up with bigger backs who don't pan out at Bback. Can you imagine Charles Perkins or Synjyn Days on one side and Justin Thomas on the other? Now that's an Aback tandem!

JJ is not a top RB prospect, or even a top prospect according to Scout. He's one of those high caliber athletes that would fit great at AB and could probably make a more of a splash there than fighting the WR/CB depth chart at UGA. Remember my Justin Thomas exception rule in the post you are referring to. That is the main recruiting benefit of this offense...the ability to utilize otherwise position orphaned athletes to the max, especially undersized ones (see Justin and JJ).

Harvin was a 5* WR prospect. Not sure how he or Bush or Spiller, all blue chippers, are relevant here.

We need to be like Oregon - FAST. We aren't running over anybody anytime soon. We need speed on the corners! I think/hope we are getting there at the AB position.

That same film was also shot in Macon on Thursday. Eastwood must be close to 100 and still kicking.
