    we've got an open date on sept. 8--who do you suggest we play?

    according to AJC, we've got VPI on labor day and now an open dated on sept. 8.

    soooo, who do you suggest we schedule? hogan says they have narrowed the search down to two teams. no names, though. are they cupcakes? hmmm . . .

    LOL that was 30 years ago my friend. They are already an established program (though not quite as powerful as they previously were).

    Wait...whaaaaa? You give FSU a pass because they're established? How are they more established than GT? They certainly have a larger fanbase and recruit better, but are you going to say that the main reason for either of those is who they scheduled 30 years ago? Really? 50 years ago we were in the SEC playing all those teams you want to play again. Why don't we get a pass? Is 50 too long but 30 just right? We were established then and haven't been as powerful as we previously were. At least stick to your point and be consistent

    If PJ has any say in it, we won't play anyone decent. I hope we could at least pull a big east team, or low grade team from a major conference so we could get on TV, maybe a team like cincinatti, Utah state, colorado, USF, something along those lines would be nice.

    I don't get it.... why not just stick with MTSU for the 2nd game? They are the next best thing to FCS. We win with ease...
