yep, that's no typo. 105-friggin' letters in one day and they all weren't the same letter. each one provided a different selling point. usually he only gets 4-6 letters per day from bama. geez . . .

"We are an elite group of individuals who will support the University of Alabama Football Program enthusiastically and wholeheartedly in a manner that will showcase our first class organization displaying the pride and tradition of the University of Alabama. We will provide donations to assist with funding football scholarships. We will strive to support our current and former football athletes as well as our football coaching staff in any possible way."
Be(e) on the look out for Clemson....F$U....or UNC to try to copy something like that. One thing, it worked for Bama in a creepy kinda way![]()
If this and the other recruiting crap that goes on is what it takes to win, is it worth what you lose in the process?
Pretty cheesy recruiting in my opinion. Will certainly stroke some of the egos that are out their. I'd rather not have the kid that makes his decision based on "how much love" an institution has shown them with cheesy s*** like this.
You win National Championships. You're the greatest coach in the NCAA. You play in the greatest conference ever known to man where any player that sees the field for 1 play is guaranteed a 7 figure multi-year NFL contract. You have a school that doesn't give a crap about academics & you can do what you please. Your players don't have to study. Your alums stuff players pockets full of money & "take care of" the parents/relatives. There's a lot of hot chicks on campus with a decent percentage actively seeking out players to give hummers to. There's an ample supply of alcohol and cheap drugs & an organization dedicated to making sure you can stay clean enough to stay eligible. The facilities are top notch.
You've got the world by the balls, but you still have to kiss major league butt to entice some 17yr old to commit to your school.
Embarrassing. College football has become a very sad business.
