I'd put our chances at about 3%.

This is so disappointing...I hope I am wrong but Im pretty sure we lost him too. Reminds me of last season with Tuitt. Lets hope Saban pisses him off between now and Wednesday :/

If everything I'm hearing is true, then I question how smart this kid really is. Bama waits until the last week to tell him they have a spot for him and he takes it like a begger. While Tech on the other hand has waited on this kid hand and foot and shown him as much love as they possible can. He has built realtionships with the Tech coaches and players. I just don't get it. I hope the theme that he committed to Bama is false and he has told CPJ I'm yours.

    I think we got him.

12 out of 13. When will this stop?

I think that you are probably joking, nothing in the recent news gives an indication that we might get him. And I don't think that kids who end up at GT are very likely to do the TV deal with the hats, hope that I am wrong but that seems to be more consistent with the SEC hype machine approach.

Actually that is my honest prediction, a bunch of our coaches were there recently watching him wrestle, and the AJC continues to say we probably have the lead. And hey, at least Derrick Favors went our way with a hat show.

As stated on another board. Alabama got eliminated from the Goldman race today (a 5 star DT). So the fact that he made his mind up the same day that Bama got snubbed from a different DT probably means that they called him today to offer him. Which if you read between the lines it makes it seems like he was just waiting on an offer from Bama. I guess it is a two sided coin. Would you rather him commit like Crawford did and then have Bama offer him today and him flip or not commit and wait until signing day. Either way it sucks to swing and miss again on another big time defensive recruit.
